Periodically, when time permits. I work as a consultant because I really enjoy empowering others, especially creatives. I have a broad background in communications, including marketing, public relations, graphic design, writing, digital media, filmmaking, new technologies, and more.

Over the years, I have written books, designed curriculums, and taught undergraduate communications and graduate writing. I run a business and have helped others brand theirs. I’ve organized and promoted events for non profits. And I’ve lectured on numerous topics, running the gamut from the artistic, like storytelling and creativity, to the technical, like nonlinear editing and virtual reality.

In the pursuit of my own creative dreams, I’ve taken meetings with and pitched to managers, agents, producers, and executives from production companies and the studios. I’ve attended numerous entertainment industry events, conferences, major film festivals, and the film markets.

Because I have traveled extensively and my network is spread across six continents, I can often lend a global perspective when it’s needed. I share my experience and give instruction, feedback, and advice to novices, business professionals, and artists.
