For over 20 years, Lisa Rysinger has owned VIDE Productions, Inc., a small production company specializing in digital media, where she created everything from corporate training videos to TV commercials. She was an early adopter of digital video technology and considered an expert in the field, authoring several books on the topic, designing college curriculums, and teaching at area colleges.

In 2016, Lisa began transitioning into screenwriting and producing features. While still based on the east coast, she travels frequently to Los Angeles, as well as nationally and internationally. Lisa specializes in high concept feature films. She is also exploring the next frontier of storytelling- Virtual Reality (VR).

An advocate of giving back to the community, Lisa founded South Jersey Screenwriters, a free and active meetup group where she lectures on the craft of storytelling to writers and filmmakers in the Greater Philadelphia area. She created the group with the objective of giving people who may not have the resources or the opportunity, the knowledge, inspiration, and motivation to pursue their Hollywood dreams.

Lisa has a bachelor’s degree in Radio, Television, & Film and a master’s degree in Writing from Rowan University, where she graduated with honors and teaches periodically as an adjunct professor. She also conducts group lectures and seminars in communications and technology. She has been featured in numerous interviews, including articles in the Philadelphia Inquirer and the New York Times.

Her professional affiliations include Women in Film LA, Film Independent, the Digital Cinema Society, and ACM SIGGRAPH (Pioneer Member).

Lisa is also active in her community. She serves on various boards and committees, chairs fundraisers, and volunteers for several nonprofits. In addition to writing, film, and technology, she enjoys yoga, international travel, and gourmet cooking.
